1.1 The Rental Term is the terms described in the p roduct details.
1.2 The Rental Term runs from the date the customer receives the Hire Goods until the day the Hire Goo ds picked up from the customer by Rentacrate (“RENTACR ATE LTD”).
1.3 The customer takes Possession of the Hire Goods immediately the Hire Goods are delivered to the Customer at the customer’s designated delivery addr ess.
1.4 If the customer wishes to extend the Rental Per iod beyond the initial hire period additional charg es will apply (see also clause 8.2 below).
2.1 The customer may be required to pay a Bond for any Hire Goods rented from RENTACRATE LTD.
2.2 Any Bond required is payable at the time the cu stomer makes payment to RENTACRATE LTD for the Hire Goods.
2.3 The Bond is refundable upon return of the Hire Goods in good usable condition (reasonable wear and tear is accepted) and subject to compliance with th e Instructions for Care and Maintenance provided to the customer on delivery.
2.4 The bond will be refunded to the customer by wa y of cheque on return of the Hire Goods to RENTACRATE LTD subject to the Hire Goods being retu rned to RENTACRATE LTD in accordance with clause 8.0 below.
2.5 The customer agrees that RENTACRATE LTD is enti tled to deduct any Cancellation Fee, Product Replacement Charge and/or any other charge or fee i ncurred by the customer from that customer’s bond prior to any refund of the bond being made to the c ustomer.
2.6 In any event where a customer’s bond is insuffi cient to cover any Cancellation Fee, Product Replace ment Charge and/or any other charge or fee incurred by t he customer, the customer is bound to pay the balan ce due to RENTACRATE LTD within 7 working days of any such charge or fee being incurred.
3.1 Upon taking Possession of Hired Goods, the cust omer agrees to:
• maintain the Hire Goods in good usable condition; and
• comply with and follow the Instructions for Care and Maintenance provided to the Customer at the tim e of delivery.
3.2 The customer is responsible for all loss, theft and/or damage of or caused to the Hire Goods whils t the Hire Goods are in the customer’s possession.
4.1 RENTACRATE LTD will accept orders over the tele phone for Hire Goods and Packaging Goods, subject t o stock availability during normal business hours on a Monday to Friday.
4.2 RENTACRATE LTD will accept orders placed over t he internet, subject to stock availability 24 hours a day.
4.3 Should RENTACRATE LTD be unable to meet an orde r placed over the internet for any reason whatsoever, RENTACRATE LTD will contact the custome r to advise of same and refund any payment made by the customer within 48 hours of the order being placed and payment being made.
4.4 Any order by a customer for less than $100.00 w ill automatically incur a $45.00 delivery fee.
5.1 RENTACRATE LTD will accept payment by direct in ternet transfer.
5.2 RENTACRATE LTD will only accept a Cash payment on Delivery by prior arrangement.
5.3 RENTACRATE LTD will NOT accept payment by way o f cheque.
6.1 Upon delivery of the Hire Goods to the customer , the customer is required to examine the Hired Goo ds and acknowledge that the Hired Goods are received i n good usable condition and that the Hired Goods ar e suitable for their intended use.
6.2 Delivery is available only in the Region descri bed under the Product Description or confirmed by t he POST CODE confirmation. RENTACRATE LTD, at its disc retion, may agree to deliver to a customer outside the Regions by prior arrangement only.
6.3 If neither the customer nor any person nominate d by the customer to accept delivery of the Hire Go ods and/or the Packaging Products is available at the d esignated delivery location at the scheduled delive ry time, the order will be deemed to be cancelled and the cu stomer will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $45.00.
7.1 The customer may cancel their order at any time free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the designa ted date of delivery.
7.2 Any cancellation made later than 24 hours prior to the designated date of delivery will be charged a Cancellation Fee of $45.00.
8.1 All Hire Goods must be returned to RENTACRATE L TD prior to expiry of the Rental Period (i.e. withi n the hire period of the customer receiving the Hire Good s).
8.2 If the customer wishes to extend the Rental Per iod beyond the initial hire period the customer mus t contact RENTACRATE LTD to arrange an extension of t he Rental Period subject to additional charges (see also clause 1.4 above).
8.3 All Hire Goods MUST be returned to RENTACRATE L TD in good usable condition (reasonable wear and tear is accepted) and in accordance with the Instru ctions for Care and Maintenance provided to the cus tomer on delivery.
8.4 If any Hire Good is returned broken, cracked, written on, excessivley marked, has any labels attached, has excessive soiling or spilled substances, and/or is damaged in any other way it will be deemed to have been returned to RENTACRATE LTD in other than good useable condition.
8.5 The customer will be responsible for payment of a cleaning charge of $5.00 per crate for any Hire Good not returned in a clean and useable condition.
8.6 A Product Replacement Charge of $50+ gst will be charged for every crate not returned at the end of the hire period, or returned in such a condition that it can not be returned to a good useable condition by cleaning.
9.1 All prices are stated in New Zealand dollars (N Z$) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
